Jeffrey Hunger, Assistant Professor of Social Psychology

Join us Monday, November 7th at 7:30 pm! Our guest speaker Dr. Jeffrey Hunger, Assistant Professor of Social Psychology, will discuss Weight Stigma, Identity Threat, and Disordered Eating!

More about our upcoming speaker:

I'm an Assistant Professor of Social Psychology in the Department of Psychology at Miami University (Ohio). Research in my laboratory examines how stigma shapes well-being – not merely mental and physical, but also social and financial. I often examine the consequences of stigma through the theoretical lens of social identity threat.

Where did you receive your degree from? University of California, Santa Barbara

Favorite thing to eat/cook? For a foodie this is too big of question. My husband and I do cook a lot of Thai, Filipino, and Mexican food though.
