Join us Monday, December 5th at 7:30 pm EST! Our speaker Amber Young, MS, RD, LDN, will be discussing running a successful, Weight-Inclusive, Non-Diet Private Practice!

More about our upcoming speaker:

Amber Young is an anti-diet, weight-inclusive Registered Dietitian and owner of Redefined Nutrition, an outpatient nutrition practice in Huntersville, NC specializing in supporting individuals to heal their relationship with food and discover body acceptance. Amber has experience in working with eating disorders in Partial Hospitalization, Intensive Outpatient, and outpatient settings. She is passionate about continuing education and has completed training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Radically-Open DBT (RO-DBT), and somatic experiencing. In her work, Amber aims to show up as both a human and a clinician while offering compassion, humor, and gentle guidance. She is fiercely passionate about empowering individuals to cultivate self-compassion and lead with curiosity as they explore eating and movement patterns that support their physical, mental, and emotional well-being - as they define it.

Where did you receive your degree from? BS Exercise Science + BA French Language from University of NC at Wilmington, MS Nutrition from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC

Best advice you've ever been given? You are not for everyone. And that is okay.

Favorite thing to eat/cook? Moules-Frites - I don't get to have it very often since it can be tough to find good French food in NC, but its always a treat when I do!
